Ultimately, I call myself a coach, a mentor, and a teacher. My passion is to encourage people to surpass their own goals and succeed in areas they never thought possible. I have a rich background in education and business, coupled with years of successful coaching experience. I work with highschoolers, collegiate athletes, post collegiate athletes, and many adult runners looking to be age group winners of Boston qualifiers. My ability to cover such a wide range of events is because I focus on the individual athlete and their goals. I match these qualities with the demand of their chosen event. The results: state champions, national champions, US Olympic trials qualifiers, Boston Qualifiers, and many personal bests.

Bob has by far been the best run coach I have worked with since I have been a runner. I have been running for the past 8 years and my passion is in running trail ultras and also road marathons. I have ran almost 10 road marathons, multiple trail 50ks and also have my first 100 miler coming up. I have been able to PR several races since signing on with Bob and he has helped me figure out how to recover correctly on top of still getting the most out of workouts and big volume weeks. How scientific he is with educating me on the reason behind why we do certain things has been instrumental in keeping me healthy. Bob has taught me that there is no such thing as overtraining but only under recovery. Bob has been an excellent run coach. He provides athletes with invaluable education on how our bodies function in response to training, nutritional needs during training and how to conserve energy through efficient form. He is incredibly responsive and quick to modify workouts/training plans based on client tolerance to activity. I have been running long distance for several years and after completing 8 marathons- my training cycle with Bob has been the first where I have stayed healthy with no injuries prior to race day. Not only did I stay injury free, but after 12 weeks- I was able to shave 7+ minutes off my Half PR and 17+ minutes off my Full PR to BQ with a 7 min and 27 second buffer. I would highly recommend Bob to any runner looking to reach their full potential and achieve goals they never thought were possible.
